Vanilla Chocolate Nutmeg Pancakes

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
3/4 cup 1% low-fat milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
Step 1: Pancake Batter: Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon sugar in a bowl and stir with a whisk. Crack egg in another bowl and stir with a whisk. Whisk in milk. Add flour mixture and stir with a spoon just until mixed.
Step 2: Cooking them: Heat a nonstick griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Spoon about 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto hot griddle or pan. Cook pancakes for 2 to 3 minutes or until tops are covered with bubbles and edges of pancakes look dry. Using a spatula, flip pancakes over and continue to cook for an addition 2 to 3 minutes or until bottoms are lightlu browned and center are no longer runny. Repeat with remaining pancake batter.
